Known as New England’s Premier Cannabis Competition, the Harvest Cup is one of those cannabis competitions that every cultivator and producer looks forward to in Massachusetts. This year, Mass Alternative Care walked away with two excellent recognitions, and we couldn’t be happier to see one of our top strains and concentrates make it into the spotlight. Without further ado, take a closer look at the two MAC products we are so proud of that got noteworthy nods from the judges at the 2024 Harvest Cup.

Introducing MAC’s 2024 Harvest Cup Winners

MAC Rainbow Road

Winner: Runner Up for Best Limonene, Caryophyllene, and Linalool Strain

When it comes to terpenes, our customers have always known that the Rainbow Road strain from MAC is something truly special. This hybrid strain is the genetic result of crossing two extremely flavorful strains: Sunset Sherbet and Mint Chocolate Chip. Therefore, Rainbow Road grew to be one of the most terpene-rich strains in New England, and it seems that Harvest Cup judges noticed the same.

Rainbow Road was the second-place winner for the best strains with high limonene, caryophyllene, and linalool terpenes. The strain provides a sweet candylike flavor highlighted by powerful notes of gas and the slightest tinge of mint.

MAC Cherry AK

Winner: Runner Up for the Best Solvent Concentrate in MA

Cherry AK is one of those cannabis strains that everyone loves due to its effects and unique cherry-drizzled flavor. Therefore, when you create a high-quality concentrate from the same strain, the results are bound to be impressive. MAC’s Cherry AK concentrate is just that: impressive, and the Harvest Cup judges seemed to agree this year! Our Cherry AK concentrate won second place for the best solvent-based concentrate.
